SHIPPING POLICY FOR L’AFRIHAIR BRAIDED WIGS
Processing Time for most wigs is 5-10 business days plus an additional 3-5 business day for shipping. We work very hard to get most orders out earlier than the processing time. If your order is being delayed for reasons beyond our control you will be notified by email, but turn around time is about 2-3 weeks. The “Ready to Ship” sections ships out in 1-3 business days plus an additional 3-5 business day for shipping. Our wigs are custom handmade, which is why we ask for 5-10 business days to braid the wig. During Peak season it may take up to 2-3 weeks to process orders EXCEPT our ready to ship collection. After processing time, your package will be sent out for shipment and you will receive your tracking number. All orders placed after 6:30 pm Eastern Standard are considered placed the next business day. Please keep in mind Your wig is a custom order and is not mass-produced, it is carefully handcrafted.
It is in your best interest to not wait until the last minute to place your orders. If you have a deadline or a specific time frame for when you would like your order available; please order well in advance to give room for unanticipated delays. The delivery estimate provided to you is based on the information received from our shipping carrier. We are not responsible for late shipments due to holidays, bad weather or carrier delays. Please bear in mind that holidays that fall on a business day would not be calculated as a business day and this should be applied when calculating processing and shipping times. We entrust our shipping carrier for on-time delivery and if by any chance, your package is delayed, there will be no reimbursement of shipping costs.
You will get an email with your tracking number when your order is ready to ship. Most of the time, We create labels several days in advance, prior to taking them to the post office. Your tracking number may not show any progress for some days. THIS IS NORMAL. It gives us time to gather several orders to ship at once and gives us time to triple check each piece is perfect and in the right packaging. Thank you for your patience.
Failed Deliveries / Incorrect Shipping Address
Incomplete or incorrect address information is the common cause of shipment delays. Please check the address information on your order and ensure ALL the information (address, apt#, Zipcode, etc.) needed to deliver your package has been included. The courier service will ship your order to the address you provide. It is extremely important that the information you give us is the most accurate and complete. If there is a need for an address correction after your shipment has been sent you will be charged the additional fee our courier service charges us to make the correction. If a parcel is returned due to a bad address you will be responsible for additional shipping charges.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE OFFERED FOR REFUSED/ABANDONED SHIPMENTS.
ALL ITEMS SHIP VIA USPS (UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE), DHL EXPRESS AND FEDEX. WE WILL NOT MAKE ANY ATTEMPTS TO SHIP WITH ANY OTHER SHIPPING CARRIERS NOT LISTED ON OUR WEBSITE. FEDEX & DHL SHIPMENT COMES WITH SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION AND YOU MUST SIGN FOR THE PACKAGE.
WE ONLY SHIP YOUR ITEM ONCE THE PAYMENT HAS BEEN CLEARED BY PAYPAL AND CONFIRMED BILLING ADDRESS WHEN PAYING BY CREDIT CARD. FREE SHIPPING TAKES 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS DEPENDING ON YOUR LOCATION.
We ship via DHL. It takes 3-5 business days for delivery depending on the shipping method. We ship worldwide!
RETURN & EXCHANGE INFORMATION
We are committed to your complete satisfaction. Due to the nature of the wigs and the time taken to manufacture the braided wigs we sell and health reasons, there is no exchange, return or refund unless in an event where you receive a wrong order or defective wig. We will issue a store credit after we receive the defective/wrong order.
If the wig is defective upon receipt, please contact us for the return address, the return is accepted within 3 days after the buyer receives their order. If it is a quality issue or we shipped the wrong wig, the Customer pays the return shipping fee. The item will be replaced after inspection of the wig and store credit issued.
After receiving the returned wigs if it qualifies for an exchange, we will make a replacement depending on our available stock, if not available, a refund will be issued. Approved returned items come back to the distribution center, we are unable to accommodate exchanges by mail. We will issue you a store credit via an E-Gift Card once we’ve received your return.
If the item is damaged by the buyer, we will not accept any exchange or refund.
All wigs are thoroughly inspected and pictures are taken before leaving our Warehouse and double-checked before sent to you in order to ensure consistency and quality.
We do not accept exchanges unless we send the wrong order or item is defective. it must be in the original state when received. Please contact us via email at email@example.com with your Order ID and one of our team members will help you.
If you want to cancel your order, please email us within 24 hrs of placing your order. Cancellation of an order must be requested within 24 hours of placing your order. Please keep in mind a $55 Cancellation/ 25%Restocking fee will apply.

All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We do not accept COD deliveries; they will be rejected. We recommend sending your return via USPS Flat Rate with a tracking number and insurance, as we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
Store credit via E-Gift Card for your returned item(s) will be processed once they are received at our distribution center. Please allow 5-7 days to process your return once it is received into our distribution center. Your E-gift card covers the original purchase price and tax if applicable. L’Afrihair Braided Wigs does not credit original shipping charges.
